Alan Rowe Kelly (born January 13, 1959 in Dover, New Jersey) is an American film actor, director, writer and producer of independent film, specializing in horror movies. ==Biography== Following study in New York City art schools, Kelly began his career as an art director in advertising and cosmetics before becoming a make up artist and hair stylist in Manhattan's fashion/commercial industry, working behind the camera for fashion magazines, catalogs, TV commercials and infomercials.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Alan Rowe Kelly Interview )〕 In 1999 Kelly began directing, producing and writing screenplays for horror movies and entered the independent horror scene with his award-winning debut film ''I'll Bury You Tomorrow'' (2002).〔 Kelly created his film production company SouthPaw Pictures in 2006 which is based in Paterson, New Jersey. Other directing credits include Gallery of Fear (2013), The Blood Shed (2007) and Tales of Poe (2013).
